New PHOTOS of Mutua’s Dilapidated New Road

Let truth be told. We have been one of Mutua’s biggest supporters. This blog has in several occasions labelled him the only working governor. Rightly so, because he has done some good work in Machakos, and definitely more than any governor.

However, we will not fail to point out his failures, especially when hundreds of millions are involved. Last week we published photos of the new 33 km road built in 3 months. We were called names and accused of being ‘haters’. Thank you very much.

Today we return with more photos. Some Kenyans went on a fact finding road trip and what we’ve been publishing is an understatement of the real picture.

Facts vs PR, choose what you want. The road is substandard, and has already started falling apart. The markings were not done everywhere, but the surprising thing is that even where they were made, they’ve started peeling off… I don’t think you can get lower than that.

Here are photos.
